Who we are

SkillsRen is run by WebRen. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, what we do with it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions about it, email us at [email protected].

Information we collect

You can browse this site and use the worksheet maker without giving us anything. We collect personal information only in these situations:

• Your name, email address and message, if you write to us through the contact form. We use them only to reply, and add you to our mailing list only if you tick the box asking for that.
• Your email address, if you ask us to email you a worksheet or sign up for our updates.
• Feedback you choose to send us, such as your answer to whether the tool gave you what you needed. This is stored without your name or email attached.
• Technical information collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is standard for websites and is used for security and to understand how the site is used.

The words you type into the worksheet maker are turned into a worksheet by your own browser. They are not sent to us, and we do not see them, unless you ask us to email you the finished worksheet — in which case the PDF passes through our system so it can be attached to the message, and is not stored afterwards.

How we use your information

• To send you the worksheet you asked for.
• To send occasional emails about new packs and free printables, if you have asked to receive them.
• To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
• To keep the site secure and prevent misuse.

We rely on your consent for marketing emails, and on our legitimate interests in running and improving the site for the rest. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them only where they help the site work or help us understand how it is used. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not allow anyone to track you across other websites.

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visitors and to see which pages people visit and how the worksheet maker is used. For each visit it records the pages you view, the rough area you are in (worked out from a shortened version of your IP address, which is never stored in full), your device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. On the worksheet maker it also records when the download button is pressed, whether the worksheet was produced or failed, whether the email step was closed without submitting, and which letter style and page size were chosen. It does not record the name or words you type.

Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_*, which give your browser a random identifier so that return visits can be told apart from new ones. They last up to two years. They do not contain your name, email address or anything else you have entered.

The data is used only for our own measurement. Google Signals, advertising features and data sharing with Google for its own purposes are switched off, so the data is not used for advertising, profiling or tracking you on other websites. Google keeps data about individual visitors for two months; after that only aggregate statistics remain. Google may process this data in the United States under recognized data-transfer safeguards.

We ask before any of this happens. Analytics runs only if you accept it in the cookie notice when you first visit, and nothing is sent to Google until you do. You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, we honor it and load no analytics at all.

Your browser also stores your email address locally after you use the download form, so it does not ask you again. That stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the companies that help us run the site:

• Our email marketing provider, which stores our mailing list.
• Our email delivery provider, which sends the worksheet emails.
• Our website hosting provider.
• Google, for the analytics described above. Google acts as our processor and does not use the data for its own purposes.

Each of these acts on our instructions. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe, after which it is removed from our list. Messages sent through the contact form stay in our inbox for as long as we need them to help you, and are then deleted. Worksheets are not kept at all. Feedback is kept for up to two years and is not linked to you. Technical and security records are kept for short periods only. Analytics data about individual visitors is kept for two months; aggregate statistics, which cannot identify anyone, are kept for as long as we run the site.

Your rights

Under data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP) at dataprotection.ro, or to the data protection authority in the country where you live.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for parents, caregivers and teachers rather than for children to use on their own. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no website can promise perfect security. Please do not send us sensitive personal information by email.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
